In Home Care can be a part of managing and living with a mental or developmental disability. If you have a loved one with a long-term or short-term condition, we can work with you to put together a plan to provide home care to allow you and your loved one to live with dignity and self-respect. Not only does this plan help clients with special needs, it helps you by providing relief so you too can live a balanced and healthy life.

Activities for your Daily Routine

Helping to do the the things we all take for granted:

  • Bathing - help the client with getting in or out of the tub or washing back
  • Dressing - help with tying shoes and buttoning, or completely dressing or undressing
  • Personal Hygiene - hair care, tooth care and dentures, help with shaving, nail filing and basic good personal hygiene and grooming needs
  • Meal Time - Cutting food, preparing with condiments like salt, butter, mustard etc, feeding
  • Bathroom - help moving to and from the bathroom
  • Monitoring Home Exercise - Assistance with devices like walkers or tread-mills, help with walking, or moving with a wheelchair
  • Shopping for Essential Items - food, medicine, personal hygiene products, or other essentials
